I think the Supreme Court is doing its job to some extent.  By looking at the cartoon and the position of power they have they were able to bring justice in claiming segregation was unconstitutional in the Brown vs Board of Education.  Sometimes they do not serve justice in coming to a solution where they wanted to please both sides of the party, like in Plessy vs Furgeuon ruling separate but equal
